The lovely ladies from Kilcooley Women's Centre told stories of outdoor toilets, black and white television programmes and giant mobile phones!
Matthew from the Ulster Scots Agency taught us about the Plantation of Ulster. We were scunnered to learn that lots of our wee words come from Scotland! We even sang some songs for the crack!
After a break of soda bread and potato farl, we met Fionnuala from Nic Thorn An Droichead who taught us about the Irish language. We looked at Irish books and learnt how to say the colours in Irish before having another singsong!
