New School Building
We have a Contractor!
We’re delighted to make the long-awaited announcement that OBConstruction has been appointed as the principal contractor for our new school building.
An exciting new chapter for Bangor Central Integrated Primary School begins - thankfully we’ll be leaving the building work to the professionals!
Our New School Journey...
In May 2024, the Education Authority confirmed
that a new school would be built for Bangor Central Integrated Primary. This exciting news means that a new state of the art Integrated school will open in 2027 on the Balloo Road in Bangor. Innovative plans have been approved in order to maximise this large site for the benefit of 618 pupils. Construction is due to commence in 2026. The school will be built without any disruption to the pupils in our school who will look forward to moving there in 2027.
There have been many meetings between Mr Lawther, School Governors and the architects. We are excited to show you what the school will look like. We will share more news about our new build very soon as contractors are appointed and the long-awaited big build commences!
