Welcome to our Year 5 page!

We have three classes in Year 5.

• Mrs Stevenson teaches in Room 1 (in the main building).
• Mrs. Millar teaches in Mobile 1 (in the playground).
• Mrs. Wright and Miss Orr teaches in Mobile 4 (in the playground).

On our class page you will find more information about what we learn in Year 5. We will update the page throughout the term to keep you informed about what we are learning in school.

To mark the start of Anti-bullying Week, we celebrated Odd Socks Day to celebrate our individuality and to remember that our differences are what makes us unique!

Year 5 took a step back in time when they visited North Down Museum to find out more about Bangor’s history as part of the 'Our World' topic. The children discovered lots of fascinating facts about the important role Bangor Abbey and its monks had in the spread of education, literacy and Christianity throughout Europe.

The children have been learning about and practising the skills needed to play Gaelic football with Oisín from AB Coaching.
