In our second autumn topic we set off on an adventure and learn about space!  Have you ever thought what it would be like to go on a journey into space and who you might meet?  Some of the questions we will be asking are:

What is beyond my world?

What is in the sky?

How do we travel to space?

What planet would you like to visit?

Parents as Partners:

Discuss with your child what you can see in the sky during the daytime and especially the night time.

Talk about our place in space - what is our planet/country/town called?

Activities:

As part of this topic:

• We will learn about the planets in our solar system.
• We will investigate a mystery crash for Mr Lawther, keep an eye on social media!
• We will create some space pictures and craft.
