Year 4 will be finding out about the Irish Culture and landscapes of Ireland. Some questions we will be looking at are : 

What are the main countries and landmarks?

 

What are the most popular Irish myths and legends?

 

How do Irish people celebrate their culture?

Parents as Partners 

We are planning on having an Irish souvenir shop in our classroom so if you have any tea towels, thimbles, pictures, books etc. We would enjoy pricing and 'selling' your items. All items will be returned at the end of our topic! 

 

Activities

As part of this topic, the children will be celebrating St.Patrick's Day. They will learn about Irish traditions such as dancing, singing and story telling. They will enjoy hearing myths and legends.
