Titanic
Our Titanic topic looks at how the Titanic is such a big part of Belfast's history. We investigate how the building of the Titanic at Harland and Wolf impacted the people of Belfast at the time. Of course, we also look in detail at the events leading up to 15th April 1912 and debate who was to blame. This topic also allows us to carry out some floating and sinking related science experiments, which the children always enjoy. The highlight is our visit to the Titanic Museum in Belfast, where we finish the topic in style by bringing everything to life. Check out some photos below.
