Update: New School Digital Consultation

We have reached a very exciting point in the journey towards a new build for our school. We would really like everyone to have a look at the new plans and make any comments that will help us to design the best school possible. In March 2024, we were delighted when Ards and North Down Borough Council granted planning approval for the new school.

We await confirmation of funding from the Department of Education which will then begin the building of our exciting new school.

Our New School Journey...

In September 2020, the Education Authority announced

that a new school would be built for Bangor Central Integrated Primary. This exciting news means that a new state of the art Integrated school will hopefully open in 2026 on the Balloo Road in Bangor. Innovative plans are now underway in order to maximise this large site for the benefit of 618 pupils. The school will be built without any disruption to the pupils in our school who will look forward to moving there in 2026. 

There have been many meetings between Mr Campbell, School Governors and the architects. We are excited to show you what the school might look like below (subject to planning). We will share more news about our new build very soon!
