Children in Need
Fri 15 Nov 2019Thank you to all the pupils and staff who participated in Children in Need today. We welcomed Pudsey to our school and raised £432 with our donations.

Anti-bullying week
Fri 15 Nov 2019This week our pupils have been looking at different ways to be kind, caring and considerate towards each other and what behaviour is acceptable and how to deal what behaviour that may upset them. In Year 1 we read Julia Donaldson's 'The Smeds and the Smoos' which has two alien families not allowing the younger aliens to play together because they are different. In Year 3 the children were discovering how different and unique each person is, and that is ok to be different. As a treat the children in Year 3 were all given ice-cream from Nugelato in Bangor.

Presentation of Silver Poppies
Fri 08 Nov 2019Some of our pupils were asked to assist the Lord Mayor in presenting war veterans with silver poppies at the Town Hall during a special celebration.

Outdoor Classroom Day
Thu 07 Nov 2019Today is Outdoor Classroom Day which is a global campaign to get children outdoors to learn and play. Many of our year groups took advantage of this to venture outdoors, even in the rain.

Storehouse Donation
Wed 06 Nov 2019Many thanks to all the parents and staff who kindly donated to our Storehouse collection. As a school we made a valuable contribution to this charity and as a result many hampers will be created for those families who need it.
