Diwali

 

 

Diwali is the Hindu Festival of Lights and in Year 1 we look at this festival and learn about how it is celebrated.

 

As we learn about patterns, we look at Rangoli patterns and colour and create our own using stencils. We can take our learning outside and use chalks, paints and pencils.

 

To develop our fine motor skills, we use clay to create diya lamps.
