Faiths and Values
Children enjoy opportunities to explore their own culture and appreciate the cultures of others.
We seek to acknowledge religious and cultural celebrations which are representative of our school families. Pupils will be introduced to the ideas, beliefs and practices of the major world religions.
One of our teaching staff leads the provision for Roman Catholic pupils whose parents wish them to undergo sacramental preparation. Our pupils enjoy sharing with their classmates what they are learning. The class offer encouragement to their friends during these special times.
It is important to note that integrated schools are not secular but are essentially Christian in character though we welcome children from all faiths and none.
