The mental health and well-being of our children is incredibly important to the Bangor Central school community. During the last month, classes have been taking part in well-being activities such as practising mindfulness, taking brain breaks, learning strategies to recognise their emotions and exploring ways to manage anxiety.
Today, in school, we celebrated Mental Health Awareness Day by wearing something yellow. #HelloYellow activities were completed by pupils in their classes, stories were read and pupils kindly donated £1 for the charity ‘YoungMinds’
As a school we will continue to support our pupils and staff to ensure that everyone stays happy and healthy this year.
