Congratulations to Lauren Skinner and Freya Benson, who took part in the local heats of the 'Environmental Youth Speak' competition on Wednesday 27th February. The girls delivered engaging and thought-provoking messages based on the theme of 'My Waste's got Talent - What can it Become?' The girls received a certificate each, as well as a bag of recycled goodies. We are very proud of how well they spoke, and we are sure they will be seen on screens at some point in the future!!
Last week our Year 7 athletes participated in a North Down competition in Bangor Castle Lesiure Centre. They performed very well and the girls' team came second in their tournament and the boys' team came first overall. They were all awarded with their medals and trophies in the Key Stage Two assembly.
