  • Internet Safety for Pupils and Parents

    Tuesday 11th February 2020 marks Internet Safety Day. As a school we have decided to make it an internet safety week, as there is so much information to take in, such as safe searching on the internet, playing safely online and most important, social media. Every class in the school will be discussing the elements of Internet Safety using the official theme from the UK Safer Internet Centre, 'Free to be Me'

    There are many ways you can keep your children safe online at home, especially surrounding screen time, age related games and social media. There are poster which outline parental tips and give guidance for these areas

  • Children's Mental Health Awareness Week

    This week we took time out of our busy days to focus on children's mental health. From additional physical activity, to enjoying the winter sunshine and getting more fresh air, all our pupils' took time to reflect on their own mental health and how it is just as important to look after our mind as well as our body. 
  • Year 3 Chinese New Year Assembly

    Mon 03 Feb 2020
    All Year 3 pupils took part in their Chinese New Year Assembly. They dressed in oriental clothed, had masks and retold the story of the Chinese New Year calendar. There was singing, dancing, and a drama and even a Chinese dragon. We had visitors from Bangor Central Nursery School who all enjoyed the performance. 
  • The Great BCIPS Bake Day

    Mon 03 Feb 2020
    Pupils took part in our version of The Great Bristish Bake Day. Cakes, buns, tray bakes were brought into school and each person taking part was awarded house points. The entries were amazing with a lot of effort on behalf on many families from our school. On Thursday and Friday the delicious food was sold for donations and £1075 was raised. Thank you kindly and Well done to everyone!
