  • Internet Safety Talk for Parents

    In partnership with Familyworksni, our school will be holding an Internet Safety Talk for Parents. The aim of this session would be to give parents the appropriate information of how to safeguard their children online. In an ever changing world of technology, having the information can help with all kinds of situations. If you would like to attend this session on Monday 5th March at 9am-10am, please contact the school.
  • Foundation Stage Phonics Workshops

    In our recent survey, many parents indicated an interest in attending a Phonics Workshop. We will be holding the sessions on Monday 5th February from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and Tuesday 6th February from 9am to 10am in the Computer Suite.

     

    This an opportunity to gain more information about phonics, to ask any questions that you might have and to ‘have a go’ at some hands on activities. No one will be put on the spot and no previous knowledge is required!

     

    A letter with further information can be found in Parents/Letters. Please send in the reply slip if you can come. Thank you!

  • Year 1-3 Nativity A King is Born

    Thank you kindly to all those who contributed towards the collection after our Nativity. £627 was raised for The Royal Hospital for sick children.

  • Big Small Stories Exhibition

    You are invited on a journey of the history and hertiage of Integrated Schools in Northern Ireland through visual displays, drama, music and other school performances at the Ulster Museum on Saturday 18th November 10.30-4pm.  Sunday 19th Novemeber 2017 11-2pm. This is a family event open to the general public. During the weekend more than 20 integrated schools are bringing interesting performances, debates, music and more to commemorate the 35 years of integrated education . our school banner will be displayed along with 64 school banners about our history and legacy.

  • Children in Need

    This Friday is Children in Need and children are allowed to come to school wearing Pudsey accessories alongside their school uniform. As this is a charity event in school children are asked to bring £1 donation.

  • Launching our outdoor library

    To promote our new outdoor library boxes children entered a competition to win a book. 
  • Harvest Assembly

    in our Harvest assembly on Friday, Helen Sloan from Storehouse North Down came in to thank the children for their generous donations. Helen explained to the children how all the donations would go towards helping other children and families in need. So a huge  thank you to all the families in our school who helped to make this possible.
