Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Next Tuesday North Down Borough Council are meeting and our Parents' Action Group is handing in a copy of our petition. We need pupils, parents and staff to meet at the Town Hall on Tuesday 28th February from 6.30pm-7.00pm to demonstrate in a dignified way that we are still as passionate about this issue as we were last October. The SEELB is discussing a land swop of the car park are for equivalent land at Gransha. This could mean that the car park would be owned by the SEELB and our school could have use of its car park and in time use it to build a new school on.
We had approximately 200 pupils, staff, parents and governors and it would be great if more could come along to show that we really care about the future of Bangor Central Integrated Primary School. Hopefully it will be a brighter evening than last year so please try and be there- we need your support!
We want our school to stay in the centre of Bangor. The leisure centre land adjacent to our present building is being sold by North Down Borough Council. Please click on the link to sign the online petition to urge the North Down Borough Council, the South Eastern Education and Library Board and the Department of Education to work together to secure the leisure centre site for the future re-build of our school. We already have over 2000 signatures on paper so your support is greatly appreciated. Please sign the petition and ask others to do the same. Thanks!
